The United States Department of Energy, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Department of Transportation, Institute for Nuclear Material Management and World Nuclear Transport Institute will present the 21st International Symposium on Packaging and Transportation of Radioactive Materials (PATRAM 2025), July 27-August 1, 2025, at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, San Antonio, Texas, USA.
Every three years, the Symposium provides international representatives of industry, academia, government and the public an opportunity to meet and exchange views and information on all aspects of the packaging and transportation of radioactive materials.
We need your participation in PATRAM 2025 to present papers sharing experiences and insights that have resulted in the exemplary safety record this industry has achieved to date, as well as papers on how the entire community can maintain and even improve the safety, security, efficiency, and effectiveness of future radioactive material shipments. As chairs of the Symposium we encourage you to share your experiences, concerns and visions of the future by submitting abstracts to PATRAM 2025.
